Passenger Railroad Chemical Databases            Car Schematics

The "Passenger Trains" option from the Main Menu triggers a function that allows responders to access detailed schematic diagrams of passenger railroad equipment like railcars and locomotives. These blueprints highlight important onboard features that arriving emergency responders need to know when performing counter-terrorism and rescue operations involving passenger railroads. The schematics highlight, among other things, emergency exit windows and doors, fuel and electrical sources, hot spots and danger zones.

The initial screen provides a list of all participating Passenger Railroads in OREIS™. Users will only see the participating railroads that operate in their jurisdiction. Click on the name of the selected railroad to access a list of all available schematics for that carrier.

The 24-Hour Emergency phone number appears under the name of the carrier to remind the response team to contact the carrier.
