This NIOSH/CDC database allows users to choose from a list of chemical agents, including substances considered to be weapons of mass destruction. The database provides important information about decontamination, spillage, storage and hazards. This database is maintained by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) and the Center for Disease Control (CDC). 1. To view more chemicals from the list, use the scroll bar from the list box to traverse the items or type the substance name in the edit box. The system automatically searches for the closest match from the list. 2. To view the chemical information, double click on the chemical name. The NIOSH/CDC information screen will appear. Click on the various radio buttons and tabs to view the substance-specific information associated with that subject.
